MAKE’s action research projects are a reflective means for collectively investigating technical, contextual and/or historical concerns specific to ‘making’ within particular fields and within a community of practice. In this sense MAKE action research projects are practice based and depend upon a mode of research that often requires moment-to-moment theorizing and data collecting as the structure of a project unfolds.
