Julian Rowe

Julian Rowe is a visual artist and recent graduate of the MA Fine Art course at UCA Canterbury. He describes his practice, which is largely three-dimensional and assemblage-based, as a form of cultural archaeology, seeking contemporary resonances and metaphors in the ideas and cultural baggage of the past. It is a practice in which model making plays a significant part. He has a particular interest in the language of the miniature and its relationship to theories of the sublime.
