Prototypes and Experiments

Despite the humidity, which my wife says seems to really affect me at times (I’m not sure she means it in a good way), my trip into London yesterday to visit Daniel Charney, the curator of the Aram Gallery, was extremely rewarding. Whilst discussing MAKE and talking about his projects at Aram and the Royal College, he walked me around their current installation of Prototypes and Experiments, a collection of objects constructed and used by different designers at various stages in their design process. Situated on the top floor of the Aram Store at 110 Drury Lane, the rolling exhibition currently has examples of work by Sebastian Bergne, El Ultimo Grito & Gitta Gschwendtner and is well worth a visit.
